Armenian Relief Society (ARS) "Meghri" Cambridge Chapter
As a charitable and humanitarian organization, the Armenian Relief Society’s (ARS) mission is to assist those experiencing social hardship. Since it was founded in 1910 in New York City, the ARS has evolved into a global network of thousands of volunteers, dedicated supporters, sponsors, and benefactors who donate funds and time to this organization in order to achieve its goals and help with its humanitarian efforts.
ARS Canada evolved in 1991 in St. Catharines, Ontario. It now has 10 ARS Chapters and more than 1,200 members across Canada, and is an integral part of the ARS international structure. ARS Canada’s field of activities is extensive and diverse, supporting the implementation of the Central Executive Board’s Armenia, Artsakh, Javakhk, and Diaspora programs, while also working on various local, educational, and social programs.
With the assistance and support of our caring community, and with the organized work, selflessness, and dedication of its members, ARS Meghri Chapter of Cambridge, ON will continue to help ARS Canada offer life-enhancing opportunities to those in great need, locally, nationally, and globally.
